Don’t forget the annual Sanborn County American Cancer Society Tour of Homes will be held in the Letcher area on Sunday, Dec. 2 from 1  to 5 p.m.
Tickets are $10 and are available at the Express Stop or can be purchased at the Letcher Community Church on the day of the tour. Refreshments will be served in the church basement.
Homes on the tour include: Les and Vickie Blindauer, Scott and Janet Maeschen, Myron and Nancy Sonne, Ray and Diane Sundstrom and Murray and Cindy VanLaecken.
Clayton Kidder and Judy Hemminger’s home had to be removed from the tour due to a death in the family.
You will also be able to view the decorated sanctuary at the Letcher Community Church. All monies raised benefit the Sanborn County American Cancer Society.

The Woonsocket American Legion Auxiliary meeting will be Tuesday, Dec. 4 at 6:30 p.m. in the community center.

    Leah Hansen and Michael Murray were married Aug. 25, 2012 in DeWolf’s Grove at the Cindy and Murray VanLaecken Residence, rural Letcher. Garry Swagger officiated.
Parents of the bride are Doug and Holly Hansen, Letcher. Parents of the groom are Tim and TerriAnn Murray, Mitchell.
Emily Hansen was maid of honor with Jessica White as matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Jane Suelflow, Samantha Brooke, Theresa Esser and Shelby Hyde. Flower girl was Ella Swim.
Best man was Zach Carmody with groomsmen Alex Murray, John Thome, Jeff Peschong, Kyle Freeman and Tyler Ladd. Westen White was the ring bearer.
Ushers were Trevor Nelson, Shane Nelson and Sean Murray
A reception was held in the Ramada at Mitchell.
The bride has a bachelor’s degree in animal science from SDSU and employed at Hansen Wheel and Wagon Shop, rural Letcher.
The groom has a bachelor’s degree in electronics engineering and technology from SDSU, and is employed at Innovative Systems, Mitchell.
The couple resides in Mitchell.
