Norma Arend of Summit and Lorena Peterson were Friday afternoon visitors in the Dale Christian home.
Fr. Larry Regynski of Mitchell spent the weekend in the Kay Regynski home.
Brad, Norma and Tyler Arend of Summit and Ashley Arend of Watertown were Thursday to Saturday guests in the Bonnie Arend home. They also visited in the Kristi Weber home.
Stuart and Carter Christian were Friday supper guests in the Dale Christian home.
Molly Moran of Brookings spent the weekend in the Jim and Donna Moran home.
Marissa Weber returned to SDSU in Brookings Monday after spending spring break in the Kristi Weber home.
Sunday afternoon visitors in the Dale Christian home were Cara and Jeff Poyer, Neil and Megan Kleppin and Stuart Christian. Others joining them in the evening were Merle and Marci Schimke of Wessington Springs, Kyle and Ryan Poyer and Christian Moody.
Dale and Wanda Swenson were Saturday noon and afternoon guests in the Neil, Jeri and Parker Senska home at Forestburg. Other guests included Russ and Phyllis Buehler of Sioux Falls, Gwen Senska and Cullen and Dylan Senska. The birthdays of Parker and Jeri were celebrated.
Gloria Klaas spent Tuesday to Thursday in the Arvid Olson home at Sioux Falls and with her mother, Evelyn Olson, in the Good Samaritan Village. Mrs. Olson’s address is Good Samaritan Village, 3901 S. Marion Road, Room 309, Sioux Falls, SD 57106.
Lila Anderson of Mitchell, Judy McLaughlin of Sioux Falls,  Jerry Jarabek of Omaha,  Keith Mathis and Larry and Ruth Ann Olinger met at Twin Lakes on Saturday night for dinner and visiting.
Charles and Myrna Knigge were guests of Lee and Ann Knigge Sunday evening. They attended the funeral for Ila Burke at St. Michaels Church in Sioux Falls on Monday.

The regular meeting of the American Legion Auxiliary Unit 29 met at 6:30 p.m. on March 10 with President Dawn Rassel presiding. Chaplain Judy Stenzel led the opening prayer. The minutes of the February meeting were read and approved.
A treasurer’s report was given by Barb Maurice and accepted. No bills were presented for payment. A Special Olympics donation of $50 has already been sent in with our obligations.
Girls State was discussed. Girls will be contacted and encouraged to take part. Plans were made for serving lunch honoring the Legion birthday after the Post meeting this month. The Spring District 6 meeting will be held in Chamberlain on April 17 with a social at 5 p.m., buffet at 6 p.m. and meeting at 7 p.m. All members are welcome. Following the closing ceremonies, President Dawn adjourned the meeting.
Bingo helper for April is Carrie Howard and she is furnishing bars. PVCC Bingo cookies are to be furnished by Carrie Howard and Liz Brooks. The next meeting will be April 7 at 6:30 p.m.

Eight members of Hope Circle met at Bethany Lutheran Church at 5:30 p.m. on March 12. Those attending were Vicki Linke, Jacki Aymar, Kim Moody, Vickie Hines, Barb Coulthard, Evelyn Mitzel, Ruth Jensen and Sue Larson. Evelyn Mitzel was the hostess and served a delicious meal prior to the meeting.
Vicki Linke, chairman, called the meeting to order following a devotional reading by Evelyn Mitzel. Sue Larson, secretary-treasurer, read the February minutes and gave the financial report.
Discussion was held concerning the upcoming carnival on March 29 at the community center from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. The group will raffle a large tub filled with groceries, a women’s pink UnderArmor sweatshirt and a quilter’s sewing basket filled with quilting related items, plus baked goods will be sold. Set up time will be at 4 p.m. on Saturday.
Vickie Hines announced that the Bethany ladies are responsible for macaroni salad to serve for the lunch following the Rite of Confirmation on April 19 at the Community Center. Plans were made to prepare the salad on April 18 following the group’s return from Bridgewater, where they will attend the Prairie Rivers Conference Spring Gathering. The “Love Offering” will be items for the food pantry in their county.
Evelyn Mitzel has finished the baby quilt with four cowboy boots to go to the Lutherans Outdoors auction, which will be held on Aug. 30 at Joy Ranch in Watertown. Thank you, Evelyn!
Maundy Thursday and Easter Sunday will both be held at the United Methodist Church.
The Bible study was entitled “Suffering and Endurance” from the book of Job found in the Gather magazine.
Kim Hiemstra will be the hostess for April – time and place to be announced.
