Sanborn County Commissioners met in regular session on Monday, December 03, 2018, at 10:00 a.m. with Chairman Ebersdorfer presiding. Other members present were: Ohlrogge, Blindauer, S. Larson, and P. Larson. Also present was Auditor Larson. Motion by S. Larson, seconded by Ohlrogge, to approve the minutes as presented. All ayes. Motion carried. 

HIGHWAY

Lee Goergen, Highway Superintendent/Weed Supervisor, and Sheri Kogel, Administrative Assistant, met with the board. The condition of the bridge on Road #12 was discussed at length.

PLAT

Penny Farris, Director of Equalization, and Leon Fredrichs met with the board to present a plat for ten acres.  By recommendation of the Planning and Zoning Board, motion by Ohlrogge, seconded by P. Larson, to approve A plat of Fredrichs Tract A in Government Lot 1 of the Northeast Fractional Quarter of Section 3, T106N, R61 W of the 5th P.M., Sanborn County, South Dakota. All ayes. Motion carried.

4-H YOUTH PROGRAM ADVISOR

Audra Scheel, 4-H Youth Program Advisor, and Sherryl Rankin, Administrative Assistant, met with the board to give the yearly report.  Improvements at the 4-H Building were discussed. The 4-H Leaders will be contacted on their ideas.

VICTIMS ADVOCATE

Sheriff Tom Fridley and Deputy Jason Coenen met with the board to discuss the Victims Advocate Program. States Attorney Jeff Larson will be contacted about this.

EXECUTIVE SESSION AT 12:15

Motion by P. Larson, seconded by Blindauer, to enter executive session at 12:15 p.m. to discuss personnel. All ayes. Motion carried. Chairman Ebersdorfer declared an end to executive session at 12:35 p.m.
