NOAH TERKILDSEN runs hard at the 281 Conference meet in Wessington Springs.

On Wednesday, Sept. 25, the SCW Cross Country team ran in the 281 Conference meet in Wessington Springs. Hannah Terkildsen was again the lone female runner for the Blackhawks, but she definitely held her own with earning first place in the varsity girls’ division. 

For the varsity boys, Braxton Gentles led the Blackhawks with a seventh-place finish, followed closely behind by Jeffrey Boschee finishing in ninth place. Andrew Lindgren came in at 12th place and Noah Terkildsen finished in 14th. Evan VonEye ended the race in 27th place. As a team, the varsity boys earned third place in their group effort.
