On Tuesday, Jan. 8, the Blackhawk boys’ basketball team hosted the Kimball/White Lake WildKats in Woonsocket. The boys started out slow in the first quarter, but the baskets started adding up quickly once the second quarter hit. The Blackhawks ended the game victorious over the WildKats, 56-42.

On Thursday, Jan. 10, SCW met the James Valley Christian (JVC) Vikings at home in Sanborn Central. The game came down to the wire, but the Vikings edged out the Blackhawks with a score of 48 for JVC and 46 for SCW.

The JV boys won their game against JVC with a final score of 29-25.

The Blackhawk boys’ next competition was and will be at the 281 Tournament in Wolsey on Saturday, Jan. 12 against Iroquois; on Tuesday, Jan. 15, against Wolsey-Wessington at Huron, and Thursday, Jan. 17, for the final game in Huron.
