On Thursday, Sept. 5, the Sanborn County Sheriff’s Office was contacted by the Mitchell Police Department about a possible stolen vehicle on its way to Woonsocket. The car had been stolen from Sioux Falls. After receiving descriptions of the driver and passenger and the suspected stolen vehicle, the Sanborn County Sheriff’s Department apprehended both the driver and the passenger at the picnic shelter on the east side of Lake Prior.
