This weekend, Friday, June 7 through Sunday, June 9 is the annual Letcher, Artesian-Letcher, Sanborn Central Alumni weekend.
A full  weekend of festivities are planned beginning Friday evening with “Tiger Night” in the Letcher Community Center at 7 p.m.
The rest of the weekend schedule is as follows:
Saturday, June 8:
9 a.m.: I Believe, We Believe Run/Walk, starting at the community center.
10 a.m.: Chili Cook-off, Jake’s Lounge.
12 p.m.: Bean Bag Tournament, Jake’s Lounge.
1 p.m.: Chili served at Jake’s Lounge.
2 p.m.: Outhouse Races, Main Street.
5:30 p.m.: All-School Reunion Social Hour, Moose Lodge, Mitchell.
6:30 p.m.: All School Reunion Banquet, Moose Lodge, Mitchell.
Sunday, June 9:
11 a.m. Men’s slow pitch softball tourament, Letcher  ballpark.
