The Blackhawk boys pounded the Wessington Springs Spartans into submission Friday night with a 86-36 win in Woonsocket.
Nick Miller led the effort with 17 points and seven rebounds while Tyler Krueger sank 13 points through the nets. Todd Stekl and Brady Tiede each added 11.
SC/W went 36-of-71 from the field and 11-of-21 from the line. The Hawks committed 13 turnovers.
Springs was led by Nicolas Paulson with seven points and Bailey Willman with five. The Spartans were 12-of-48 from the field and 10-of-15 from the charity stripe. They had 18 turnovers.
The junior varsity boys also got a big win, 66-35. Leading scorers in the JV game were Joe Davis with 17, Dillon Moore with 12 and Garrett Larson and Jastyn Ford each with eight.
