Woonsocket sixth graders complete DARE program

By Brooke Doering and Emily Ohlrogge

All of the sixth graders at Woonsocket Elementary School completed a great program, D.A.R.E.
A requirement was to write an essay about the D.A.R.E. program. The three winners were Dilyn Brooks, Brooke Doering and Trinity Boschee, whose essays will be sent off to the state.
Officer Mark Johnson, the D.A.R.E. instructor, made it interesting to keep the kids’ attention. The kids enjoyed having Officer Johnson in their classroom and enjoyed participating in this program.
