Judy Teeslink

Iroquois

Judy Teeslink, 72, of Iroquois, and formerly of Wessington Springs, died Sunday, May 29, 2016, at the Sanford USD Medical Center in Sioux Falls.
Her memorial service will be Saturday, June 4, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Wessington Springs, with burial in Prospect Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, June 3, with a scripture service at 7 p.m. at the Basham Funeral Home in Wessington Springs.
Judith Lorraine King was born Aug. 8, 1943, to Willis and Dolores (Herdman) King. She worked for Northwestern Bell Telephone Company both in Chamberlain and Huron for 18 years.
Judy is survived by her husband, Chuck Teeslink; three daughters, Kristina Teeslink of Sioux Falls, Paula (Doni) Guinn of Forestburg, and Sara (Warren) Teeslink of Huron; three sons, Dustin Teeslink of Huron, Tyler (Heather) Teeslink of Huron and Chad Gamber of Watertown; two sisters, Vicki (Wayne) Mees of Alpena and Bonnie (Beull) Walters of Las Vegas, Nev.; 17 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Lloyd Teeslink; and her second husband, Gary Gamber.

Elaine Snow

Elaine Snow, 79, of Artesian, died Sunday, May 15, 2016, at Avera Queen of Peace Hospital, Mitchell
Memorial services were held Saturday, May 28, at the Bittner Funeral Chapel in Mitchell.
Elaine was born in Stratford-Upon-Avon, United Kingdom, on Oct. 4, 1936, to Benjamin and Mariam Morris.
She will be remembered for her love of horses. Even as a young girl living in England, she participated and competed in many Gymkhana Equestrian events, which is much like Western United States horse competitions.
Elaine is survived by her husband, Donald J. Snow; her four children, Julie Tweedy, Bobby (Karla) Jenkins, Cory (Katey) Jenkins, all of South Dakota, and Jerri McDowell of Kentucky; 10 grandchildren; one great-grandson; a brother, Robert Morris of the United Kingdom; nieces; a cousin; and a brother-in-law, Steve Snow.

Thank you for a very impressive Memorial Day service. Rex, you gave an excellent talk. I am sorry more people could not find the time to honor our servicemen who helped make our country the land of the free so we can enjoy all that we have today.
