Complaints on your assessment may be made to your Local Township or Municipal Board of Equalization in writing, postmarked no later than Thursday, March 17, 2016.  The boards are in session five days, March 21th-25th, 2016.

Ralph Weddle

South Lyon, Mich.

Weddle    Ralph Weddle, 87, of South Lyon, Mich., died Feb. 16, 2016, at his home.
A funeral service was held on Friday, Feb. 19 at the Phillips Funeral Home in South Lyon, Mich.
Ralph was born Dec. 25, 1928, in Nebraska City, Neb., to Walter and Stella Weddle.
He was a proud veteran of the Korean War. Following his honorable discharge from the Army, he played for the Nebraska Corn Huskers as No. 88, tight end.
Ralph spent eight years in South Dakota and 22 years with Clarenceville High School in Livonia, Mich. He was employed at Woonsocket High School from the fall of 1963 to the spring 1967 as a teacher and athletic director, and he also coached football, basketball and track. His record holds 179 wins, 95 losses, two ties, 36 straight wins in South Dakota, and nine conference championships. He was inducted into the Michigan Coaches Hall of Fame.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Ann; his children, Randy (Jacqueline) Weddle, Kim (Chuck) Champe, Kelly Young, and Michelle (Chris) Pedersen; 10 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; many friends; and by many former students and athletes that he coached.
Ralph was preceded in death by five brothers.
Arrangements were with Phillips Funeral Home in South Lyons, Mich.
