Huron – Dakotaland Federal Credit Union recently honored eight area youth with college scholarships for the 2018-19 school year. Each recipient submitted an application and an essay highlighting the positive changes they would make in their communities if given the opportunity. Those submissions were judged by a scholarship committee made up of 10 individuals.

Tristan Ziebart of Woonsocket was awarded $1,000 to use toward their continued education. She will graduate from Woonsocket High School and will be attending the University of South Dakota in Vermillion, majoring in Elementary and Special Education.
