The Pacesetter Great Five-State Championships was held at the newly renovated Target Center in Minneapolis, Minn., June 14-15. It featured the top teams from Minnesota, South Dakota, North Dakota, Wisconsin, and Iowa. The SCW fifth grade boys team attended the tournament.  They made a great showing for the only fifth grade South Dakota boys team.

This exciting five-state playoff system is sponsored by the WNBA champion Minnesota Lynx and the Minnesota Timberwolves. The Great State tournament was held in conjunction with Minnesota Lynx games, and all players got to attend the Friday night Lynx game.
