Shooters compete on the 22 CMP Rifle line at the State Shoot – Nathan Linke, Megan Linke and Aaron Linke.

Sanborn County 4-H Shooting Sports recorded a successful year in 2017, with many new shooters, 31 county records set, and 67 shooters qualifying for the State Shoot in 168 events.
County Shoot placings were decided over eight match shoots.  The top scores from the match shoots were used to determine the first, second and third place finishes for the county level.
