The TL Rangers Club met on Sunday, Nov. 27, at their leader Tami Ziebart’s house. The meeting was called to order by Club President Tyler Eddy. The Pledge of Allegiance was led by Clay Olinger, and the 4-H pledge was led by Tyson Eddy.
The club first discussed old business with a review of Recognition Night. It was discussed that there was a low attendance this year, with most club members agreeing that it was probably because it was on Saturday night. Record books were returned to each member who did one. Thank you cards were written to the sponsors. All club members donated their premium money earned this year back to the club to fund club projects.
For new business, club officers were elected for the 2016-2017 year. The new officers are as follows: President – Taylor Lindsey, Vice-President – Mariah Jost, Secretary – Erica Howard, and Treasurer – Tristan Ziebart.
The club then discussed a community service project and decided they wanted to ring the bells for the Salvation Army again this year. Carrie Howard will look into that and get back to everyone on a scheduled time.  The club decided to have a Christmas party on Dec. 11 with a bowling party and gift exchange.
Finally, it was decided to put up a Christmas tree at the courthouse again this year, so the members painted Christmas ornaments to use for the tree before adjourning the meeting.
