The TL Rangers met at the Tami Ziebart home on Feb. 26 at 7 p.m.
John Olinger was a guest and updated the club members on what he learned at the leaders meeting on Feb. 25. Ground and building improvements and additions, Achievement Days schedule, Shooting Sports building addition and project days were discussed.
There was a Day Camp on artificial insemination on March 18 in Mitchell for those interested in learning more about this procedure. The cost was $25 with sign up by March 10. On March 17, there was a sewing class at the Sanborn County 4-H building with sign up by March 1.
The club members had collected movies, beef jerky, candy, popcorn and many other fun things to send to Tre and Ty Swenson, who are both serving in Kuwait. They packaged this up in three boxes for them and their friends to enjoy.
After the meeting, snacks were provided by the Ziebart family.

The Sanborn County Extension Office will be offering a special photography workshop on Monday, April 17, at the 4-H Building in Forestburg called “Photography 101 with Abby Bischoff”.
Bischoff is a Beadle County 4-H Alumni who has made a career out of her passion for photography.
In the first session at 9:30-11:30 a.m., Bischoff will be sharing the basic rules of photography, when to follow and when to break them.  This is an excellent session for the beginner level photographer who is beginning to learn how to take pictures.
For the more advanced photographers, there will be a second session at 12:30-2:30 p.m.  Bischoff will go more into depth on some of the techniques she uses every day.  Topics that will be covered throughout the two sessions include:  rule of thirds, lighting, leading lines, backgrounds, composition, framing, cropping and depth of field.
Getting to know your camera will be important before you arrive.  Everyone’s camera is different, so go over the user’s manual if you have just purchased a new camera or even to re-familiarize yourself if it’s been awhile.
This free workshop is open to all 4-H and non 4-H youth and adults.  If interested, please RSVP to sanborn.county@sdstate.edu or call (605)796-4380.
