Sanborn Central/Woonsocket ran away with a victory over Tripp-Delmont/Armour, 82-39, on Thursday night in girls basketball at Armour.
Shelby Selland hoisted 21 points into the nets for the Blackhawks, as well as garnering three boards. Rachelle Moore, also in double figures, added 16 points. Ashley Schmit collected three rebounds.
The Blackhawks went 35-of 65 from the field for 54 percent and 7-of-14 from the stripe for 50 percent. A total of 24 rebounds and 14 turnovers were made by SCW.
Hannah Just fired in 18 points for the Nighthawks. LaNae Fuerst pulled down four rebounds.
Going 16-of-40 from the field the Nighthawks (0-5) shot 40 percent. From the line TDA was 5-of-9 for 55 percent and turned the ball over 28 times, along with gaining 16 rebounds.

The Blackhawks were led by Nick Miller with 18 points. Todd Stekl followed with 13 points and Davion Brooks pumped in 10. Miller also pulled down six boards.
Trevor Payer led the Nighthawk effort with 14 points and nine rebounds. Cody Hrdlicka scored nine points. Austin Barlow stole the ball seven times and made five assists.
SCW was 21-of-51 from the field for 39 percent and hit 13-of-19 from the line for 68 percent. The Blackhawks pulled down 26 boards and made 14 turnovers.
TDA went 13-of-36 for 36 percent from the field and were 7-of-15 from the stripe. Accumulating 14 rebounds, the Nighthawks (1-2) turned the ball over 21 times.

Davion Brooks led the Blackhawk effort with 18 points as Sanborn Central/Woonsocket beat Howard, 65-56, Monday in Forestburg.
Tyler Krueger hit 15 points and Nick Miller added a dozen and cleared eight boards for SCW.
Howard was paced by Steve Larsen with 20 points. Cal Weise scored 15 and Cole Potter finished with a baker’s dozen.
The Blackhawks shot 35 percent from the field and also won the JV game.
