The Sanborn Central/Woonsocket girls claimed win number 11 Thursday night with a 79-55 thrashing of Wessington Springs.
Rachelle Moore was the star of the night with a game high 25 points. Shelby Selland added up 16 points and Marissa Weber had nine.
The Blackhawks went 30-of-65 from the field and 7-of-12 from the stripe. SC/W committed 17 turnovers and forced 25 from the Spartans.
For the Spartans, Cassidy Musick had 17 points while Devin Tebay had 15 points and 13 rebounds. Shyanne Kopfmann added nine rebounds.
Wessington Springs (4-9) went 23-of-53 from the field and 6-of-16 from the foul line.
SC/W improved to 11-1 going into Monday night’s doubleheader versus Ethan. The Blackhawks also won the JV game.
