The Sanborn Central Blackhawks swept up in Kimball last Tuesday with wins all around.
The Lady Hawks thrashed the WiLdKats, 66-33, after the boys thoroughly beat KWL, 78-59.
Dillon Moore led the boys with 17 points, while Brady Tiede recorded a double-double with 13 points and 11 boards. Tyler Krueger racked up 10 points.
The Blackhawks shot 56 percent from the field on 34-of-61.
KWL was led by Eathen Gaulke with 15 points and eight rebounds. The WiLdKats went 23-of-57 from the field.
Shelby Selland scored a game-high 20 points and grabbed eight rebounds in the girls’ win. Myah Selland added up a double-double with 15 points and 10 rebounds. Marissa Weber had 13 points and six assists.
The Lady Hawks shot 26-of-59 from the field.
KWL shot just 10-of-56 from the floor and were led by Mary Kroupa and Jazmyn Hinker with 10 points apiece. KWL fell to 8-2 on the season.
The boys JV won 46-27 and the girls JV won 37-30.

On Jan. 18 the BlackHawk grapplers participated in the Tri-Valley Tournament along with teams from Andes Central, Dell Rapids, Elk Point-Jefferson, Garretson, Kimball/White Lake/ Platte-Geddes, Marion/Freeman, Miller/Highmore-Harrold, Mt. Vernon/Plankinton/Corsica, Parker, Pipestone Area, Tri-Valley, and Wolsey-Wessington.
