SIOUX CITY — Briar Cliff University announces recipients of the full-tuition Presidential Scholarship, the highest scholarship awarded by Briar Cliff to first-year students.
The 2016-2017 Briar Cliff Presidential Scholars, all of whom are graduating from high school this spring, include Casey Zoss, Mitchell Christian High School, son of BJ and Karen Zoss of Letcher.
The BCU Presidential Scholars were announced following a competitive application process, including interviews with Briar Cliff administrators.
High school seniors who apply for BCU’s Presidential Scholarships must have a cumulative GPA of 3.75 or better and an ACT score of 26 or higher. Award criteria also include church, school and community leadership roles. Presidential Scholarships can be renewed annually for up to four years.
