The Water Festival 5K Run/Walk was held Saturday morning, July 2, to kick off the Fourth of July festivities.
Rex Schlicht was the overall male winner of the race, and Ellie VonEye beat out all the females.
The results of the race are as follows:
13 and under male: first – Braxton Gentles, second – Michael Schmiedt, third – McCoy Schulz and Evan VonEye (tie); 13 and under female: first – Ellie VonEye, second – Trinity Boschee, third – Jaycee Baruth; ages 14-18 male: first – Spens Schlicht, second – Kaiden Dorris, third – Isaac Strickerz; 14-18 female: first – Megan Poyer, second – Brooklyn Swenson, third – Halle Andree; 19-29 male: first – Rex Schlicht, second – Paul Brown, third – Quinn Andree; 19-29 female: first – Katie Brown, second – Emily Olson, third – Kayla Collins; 30-39 male: first – Jeff Schulz, second – Tim VonEye, third – Mike Dorris; 30-39 female: first – Glenda Gerlach, second – Jayni Schulz, third – Jodi Doering; 40 and over male: first – Rick Muller, second – Kevin Moe, third – Scott Gentles; 40 and over female: first – Jamie Strickerz, second – Jean Schlicht, third – Gloria Jensen and Sheryl Rankin (tie).
