Sanborn County 4-H held their first annual Sanborn County Shooting Sports Awards Night on Oct. 14 at the 4-H grounds in Forestburg. Following a potluck supper, all of the 4-H Shooting Sports participants were recognized for their accomplishments.

The football awards night was held Thursday night, Nov. 16, in the Woonsocket Gym. The awards were as follows:
Major Letter winners: Noah Dickson, Trey Weber, Landon Wolter, John Witte, Weston Baysinger, Trent Kingsbury, Alex Wormstadt, Logan Wolter, Trey Ulmer, Aiden Wormstadt, Wesley Linke, Chandler Flowers, Tyler Eddy, Jordan Hines, Eric Ruml, Brendin LaBore, Devon Weber, Rylie Stevens;
Minor Letter winners: Ty VonEye, Corey Fink, Cage Boschee, Kadin Schlenker, Collin Schmiedt, Sawyer Senska, Brock Stevens, Seth Tebay, Luis Cardona, Riley Hines;
Seventh/eighth award winners: MVP – Clay Olinger, Defensive MVP – First Team Defense, Hustler – Mason Moody, Most Inspirational – Carter Grohs;

MEMBERS OF the Woonsocket Community Choir perform their annual cantata, “O Little Town of Bethlehem,” Sunday evening.

The Christmas season was in the air at the Woonsocket Community Center on Sunday, Nov. 19, with the delightful music of the Woonsocket Community Choir. They presented their annual Christmas Cantata, with this year’s music selections having the title of “O Little Town of Bethlehem.”
