Sanborn Central High School was one of the 10 schools participating in the Regional 5B One-Act Play contest, held in the Huron High School Auditorium on Jan. 26. Breanne Brandenburg, Austin Schmit, Koby Larsen and Madi Moody presented, “The Last Leaf”, written by Thomas Hischak, and were directed by Candi Danek.
Madi Moody received a superior acting award.
The other nine schools include Sunshine Bible Academy, Wolsey-Wessington, James Valley Christian, Canistota, Howard and De Smet. James Valley Christian and De Smet advanced to the State One-Act Play contest at Northern State University in Aberdeen, Feb. 2-3.
