Bailey Schmiedt takes control and pins his opponent to advance to the final round of wrestling on Saturday, Feb. 17 at the region wrestling tournament in Miller.

On Saturday, Feb. 17, the Wessington Springs/Woonsocket wrestlers traveled to Miller for the Region 3B Wrestling Tournament with hopes of earning a spot in the state tournament lineup. The Blackhawks had nine wrestlers compete, but only Bailey Schmiedt and Riley Stevens earned a trip to the state tournament.
