The Scramble in the Sand golf tournament was held at Pony Hills golf course in Woonsocket on Saturday, July 28, with 22 teams participating.

Those who placed in the first flight were: first – Elliot Ohlrogge and Rikki Johnson, second – John Baysinger and Jenni Greenway, and third – Shawn Ruml and Brett Stekl;

Winners of the Championship Flight were: first place – Mike Johnson and Patrick Johnson, second place – Brian Goertz and Jevon Goertz, and third place – Rod Weber and Tara Weber.

The following pin prizes were also awarded to competitors: straightest drive – Elliott Ohlrogge, shortest drive – Luke Christenson; women’s longest drive – Regina Teveldal; men’s longest drive – Michael Johnson; closest on the green on #4 – Patrick Johnson; closet to the pin on #8 – Brian Goertz; closest on second shot on #5 – Tara Weber; closest on second shot on #9 – Patrick Johnson; women’s closest chip – Regina Teveldal.
