It was the “Battle of the Big Boys” in Alexandria last Tuesday night, when Devon Weber proved himself as a powerhouse inside the paint for the Blackhawks. Weber and Hanson’s Nathan Stewart battled all night in the lane and under the hoop, and it was Weber who prevailed as the victor.

Holding Stewart, one of Hanson’s top scorers, to just two points for the entire game, Weber led the Blackhawks in scoring with 13, while Noah Dickson added 12 points and led all rebounders with 12.

The Blackhawks improve to 10-2 on the year and see their next action on the court on Monday, Jan. 29, in a doubleheader at Ethan, and then again on Thursday, Feb. 1 for a doubleheader with Corsica-Stickney in Sanborn Central.
