The Wessington Springs/Woonsocket wrestling team performed well at the Arlington Invitational on Saturday, Jan. 20, placing fourth out of 14 teams at the tournament.
Camden Jost and Clay Olinger both had their best tournament yet, as Camden placed third in the 126-pound weight class and Clay placed fourth at 132 pounds. Landon Wolter placed fourth at 145 pounds, and Tyler Eddy earned second place at 160. Bailey Schmiedt got third and Luke Knipfer got fourth, both at 170 pounds. Riley Stevens rounded out the day with a second-place finish in the 195-pound weight class.
The wrestlers will next take to the mat on Thursday, Jan. 25 in Woonsocket. It will be the first time in over 30 years.
