For the first time in over 30 years, wrestling will be performed in the Woonsocket gym. The last time a wrestling event took place in Woonsocket was when Mr. Lindy Peterson was coaching, and the team was still called the Woonsocket Redmen.

Because the Blackhawks have a larger roster than they have had in several years, and local residents Bruce Schmiedt and Dominic Schmiedt are the coaches, this year was a perfect time to bring a wrestling event back to Woonsocket.

The three teams invited to create the quad are Lower Brule, Sunshine Bible Academy, and Chamberlain. Action will start at 6 p.m. There will be concessions run by the Pony Hills Youth Wrestling Program. They will be serving French dip sandwiches.
