The third grade class at Woonsocket Elementary finished a math unit on rounding, and their teacher, Mrs. Jessica Bruce, decided to celebrate and test their knowledge a little differently than usual. She transformed their classroom into a candy shop and made her students candy shop owners.
Each student had to do paperwork based on what they learned in their rounding math unit, and the paperwork was mostly centered around candy. Once they were done, they could enjoy some candy, and they each got to take home a helium-filled, candy-shaped mylar balloon that was blown up for them by Tara Weber, owner of CreativeWEB Apparel and Gifts.
