The Woonsocket/Wessington Springs/Sanborn Central Blackhawks began their 2019 season on Friday night at Chamberlain. Unfortunately, the season started with a loss to Chamberlain by a score of 26-6.
Chamberlain received the ball first and the Blackhawks forced a punt. The Blackhawks could not gain a first down and punted back to Chamberlain. On their first play of their second series, Chamberlain scored on an 87 yard run and the score was 7-0 after one quarter of play.
