The Sanborn County 4-Hers showed off a year’s worth of work and learning this past weekend at their annual Achievement Days event in Forestburg.
The event kicked off Thursday, Aug. 10 with static exhibit entry and judging and a bake sale.
Friday was a big day with the dog and cat show in the morning, rabbit and poultry show in the afternoon and burgers, SDSU ice cream and Ag Olympics in the evening.
Saturday began with the annual area business-sponsored community pancake breakfast, followed by the livestock shows running throughout the day. The Sanborn County Health Show and pie contest was held in the afternoon and the event ended with the community barbecue, Fashion Revue Program and Parade of Purples.
