The South Dakota Farm and Ranch Recognition Program honored families’ ranches and farms of 100 years, 125 years and 150 years Thursday morning on the Farm Bureau Dakotaland Stage at the South Dakota State Fair. Those families had the opportunity to individually share their stories and heritage as they became part of South Dakota farm and ranch history.
The Henry Linke family of Woonsocket was awarded the Quasquicentennial certificate for 125 years of farming in the family during the recognition ceremony.
