In the first year of the implementation of the Round of 16 Tournament for the B schools, the Blackhawks boys’ basketball team found themselves competing for a chance to make to it the state tournament with just one game to go. They were up against a tough fifth-seeded Clark/Willow Lake team, but SCW played right with them until close to the end of the third quarter.
