On Sunday, May 19, the Letcher Summer Youth Program hosted the Play Ball! Minnesota baseball clinic at the Woonsocket School Gym. The clinic was supposed to be at the Letcher baseball diamond, but with the weather being so difficult, it had to be moved indoors.

Three clinic facilitators affiliated with the Minnesota Twins provided guidance and expertise for many of the county’s aspiring baseball and softball players. There were two groups of attendees. The first group was for boys and girls ages 6 to 9, and the second group was for boys and girls ages 10-13. Each group met and worked for about 90 minutes.
