Christopher and LeAnne Grassel are the proud parents of a boy, Griffin James, born on Sept. 21, 2012. He weighed 7 lbs. and was 20 inches long.
Grandparents are Ed and Laurie Grassel and Robert and Holly McKillop. Great-grandparents are Charmaine Janzing and Francis Grassel.

Women of Prairie Lutheran Parish attend ELCA Retreat

Deanna Dean, Mildred Hendrix, Beverly Morris, Joyce Olson, Pastor LeShea Avery and Judy Wormstadt attended the Medary Conference of the ELCA Fall Retreat at Badger on Tuesday, Sept. 18. Jean Wormstadt, Jan Peskey and Joyce Burma of Immanuel Lutheran Church helped the group perform their “Little Red Hen” skit. It received a rave review.

A girl, Adalie Jean Enfield was born to Jon and Jennifer Enfield, Letcher, in Avera Queen of Peace Hospital, Mitchell, Sept. 16, 2012.
Grandparents are Jolene Enfield, Letcher, Dennis and Donna Morgan, Artesian. Great-grandparents are Marion and Deanna Dean and Duane and Kay Morgan, Artesian, and Shirley Enfield, Letcher.
