The sixth grade class presented the second pillar of Character Counts! – Respect. The class put on a skit, “Read a Book,” and gave several examples. The guest speaker was Miss Foos, the new fifth grade teacher. The commentators interviewed Miss Foos and then her class put on a presentation, Dealing with Respect. The CCR rappers performed a chant to the audience.
The sixth graders have placed a Character Counts! tree in the hall. Different colored leaves can be counted by the students for showing good character. Our next pillar will be responsibility.
