James Valley Christian defeated Sanborn Central/Woonsocket in four sets on Tuesday at Woonsocket.
Set scores were 25-18, 25-20 18-25 and 25-18.
Marissa Weber led the Blackhawks with 15 kills, 11 digs and four aces. Morgan Selland notched seven kills and two blocks. Candace Page-Marten made 17 set assists, Rachell Selland wrote in three aces and three blocks, while Shelby Selland contributed two blocks. Rachelle Moore made 13 digs.
The Vikings were led by Jaclyn Loban’s 15 kills and 16 digs. Ariana Zuccaro collected 10 kills. Tara Nihart rolled up 32 sets assists, 13 digs and eight aces. Hannah Logan had two aces. Leslie Boomsma finished with three blocks and Kristin Williams made 13 digs.
JVC moved to 13-5 while SC/W fell to 15-5.
