Sanborn Central staff “casually” supports “Dig Pink” Night!

The faculty and staff at Sanborn Central were able to go casual the week of Oct. 15 to help fight breast cancer.
For a contribution of $1 a day they were allowed to wear jeans to school. If they wanted to wear sweats, they could contribute $5 a day.  As of Monday morning the amount of $170 had been collected. The money will be contributed to the You’ll Never Walk Alone Foundation.
This Friday, Oct. 19 is the Lady Blackhawk’s “Dig Pink” night. Events include: Best “Proud to Wear Pink” Outfit – prizes will be given to individuals in grades pre-K through fifth, middle school, high school and adult; 2:55-4 p.m. Walk for Support – Spare Change Drop; 4 p.m. tailgate party;  4:30 p.m. first match on the way to Blackhawk victories.
There will be goodie trays, a raffle, a recognition ceremony, serve-a-thon and lots of fun. All proceeds will go to the You’ll Never Walk Alone Foundation.
