Ada Kott, 77, of Kimball, passed away Sunday, Aug. 18, 2013 in her home.
Funeral services are 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 22 in Kimball Protestant Parish. A Committal Service will follow in Kimball Community Cemetery.

Ada Marie Sievert was born on Feb. 15, 1936 to John Carl and Evelyn (Fouberg) Sievert at Woonsocket. She attended country school and was united in marriage to Emil Marcus Kott on April 15, 1962 at Forestburg. To this union two daughters were born, Nancy and Rita. Ada took pleasure in being a housewife and helped out on their farm southeast of Kimball until they retired, moving into Kimball in October of 1988. Ada was an active member of Protestant Parish and Drips American Legion #130 Auxiliary of Kimball. She enjoyed cutting quilt blocks and bowling.
She is survived by her daughter, Nancy (Steve) Beckman of White Lake; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; three sisters, Betty Thompson, Darlene Mentele and Rosetta Sievert; a brother, Maynard Sievert; two sisters-in-law, Sandy Sievert and Ella Varilek; and several nieces, nephews and friends.
Ada was preceded in death by her daughter, Rita  in 1982; her husband, Emil in 1997; her grandparents; her parents; two brothers, Raymond Sievert and Harold Sievert; three sisters, Lucille Sievert, Judy Sievert and Dorothy (Roy) Kluth; five brothers-in-law, Ronald Thompson, Jim Mentele, Elmer (Gladys) Kott, Charlie Varilek and Clarence Kott; and two sisters-in-law, Kathryn Sievert and Margaret Thompson.
