Shelby Selland put her 1,000th point on the board as the Blackhawks pounded JVC in a 84-43 win Tuesday night.
The Lady Hawks were led by Marissa Weber with 19 points, followed by Myah Selland with 16. Rachelle Moore chipped in 14 points, while S. Selland contributed 12.
SC/W shot 34-of-60 from the field and 13-of-16 for a near perfect 81 percent from the line.
Myah Selland also led defensively with nine rebounds. Candance Page-Marten and Moore each had six assists and six steals. The Blackhawks committed 17 turnovers.
James Valley was led by Tara Nihart with 20 points and Jaclyn Loban with 13. JVC went 14-of-51 from the field and 8-of-14 from the line. The Vikings (10-9) had 15 rebounds and 26 turnovers.
SC/W also won the JV game.
