    The St. Wilfrid High School Youth Group presented the Living Stations, an enactment of the Stations of the Cross, during Holy Week.

Tanna Kingsbury, an eighth grader at Sanborn Central, is currently at St. Mary’s Hospital with Mayo Clinic in Rochester. She has been diagnosed with Ewing’s Sarcoma.

Christie Ruml is having a Scentsy Fundraiser for Kingsbury for the next two weeks. It is set up on her Web site at www.christieruml.scentsy.us. You can click on Tanna’s name under open parties and order. All profits will be donated to the Tanna Kingsbury fund.
Kyanna Huff of Plankinton is also doing a Kingsbury fundraiser with Norwex products for two weeks. Her Web site is www.kyannahuff.norwex.biz. You can e-mail, Facebook or call her with your orders (kyannag.13@hotmail.com, 605-682-1339).
An account for donations has also been established in Tanna’s name at Home Federal Bank, Mitchell.
Sanborn Central Supt. Linda Whitney has volunteered to coordinate the fundraising efforts. She can be contacted at the school or at linda.whitney@k12.sd.us.
Ewing’s sarcoma is a primary bone cancer that affects mainly children and adolescents. It accounts for just one percent of childhood cancers and there are only 200 new cases diagnosed in the United States per year.
Ewing’s tumors are inherited and not caused by any sort of environmental factors. It is unknown why the cancer occurs.
Tanna is the daughter of Kevin and Lynnette Kingsbury of Letcher.

Notice is hereby given that a public hearing will be held before the Sanborn County Commissioners, acting as the Board of Adjustment at 10:15 a.m. on April 16th, in the Commissioners’ room, second floor of the Sanborn County Courthouse in Woonsocket, SD.
This is for a variance for Danny Ball to erect a 16’ (ft.) addition on to his existing building at Lots 19-21, Block 2, Dunn’s Addition, Woonsocket, SD. Existing regulations allow 14’ (ft.) sidewalls.
All interested parties are encouraged to attend this hearing.
