The candidates for homecoming queen were: Jessica Schmit, daughter of Bob and Brenda Schmit; Shelby Selland, daughter of Brett and Kelly Selland; and Queen Kelbi Dean, daughter of Justin and Lori Dean. The candidates for homecoming king were: King Joe Hetland, son of Robert and Jane Hetland; John Blindauer, son of Kary Blindauer; and Ryan Pearson, son of Robert and Laura Pearson.

Sanborn Central School held their annual coronation ceremony Thursday evening, crowning Joe Hetland and Kelbi Dean King and Queen.
Some games were played, mostly at the royal courts expense, including a question and answer game with candidates and their parents.
