Gayle and Catherine Bechen look through their fruit to make sure everything is okay.

The 4-H Building in Forestburg was overflowing with 4-Hers and fruit this past Saturday, March 22 as 4-Hers and parents gathered to unload the fruit from the semi, sort and deliver it.
This marked the fourth year that Sanborn County 4-H has participated in a fruit sale fundraising effort. 4-H fruit sales began in 2011 with proceeds going towards constructing a show ring roof.
Since then, funds raised have been used to put in new continuous fencing in the barn and show ring areas and an addition was constructed to the 4-H barn for poultry and rabbits.
This year’s fruit sale proceeds will help to add new cages in the poultry and rabbit barn and other 4-H Grounds improvements.
4-H continues to grow in Sanborn County thanks to the support and efforts of so many!
