Coach Weber gets 200th career win

The Sanborn Central/Woonsocket Blackhawks handed Coach Rob Weber his 200th career win when they soundly defeated the Howard Tigers, 90-30, in basketball action Monday, Dec. 23 at Howard.
Davion Brooks led the six Blackhawk players who scored in double figures with 20 points and nine rebounds. Brady Tiede added 13 points and Jaedyn Ford and Jarid Bechen each contributed 11. Ten points each were chalked up by Tyler Krueger and Dillon Moore.
The Blackhawks shot 37-of-65 from the field and overwhelmed the Tigers with their rebounding 31-12.
The Tigers were led by David Noid with nine points. They shot only 12-of-45 from the field and turned the ball over 21 times.
Sanborn Central/Woonsocket (3-0) also won the JV game. Their next battle is Jan. 4 in Forestburg when they meet Hitchcock-Tulare.
