KIM MOODY of Woonsocket stands behind the counter at the Way Station. She re-opened the restaurant for business April 14.
Kim Moody recently purchased the Way Station in Woonsocket and opened for business on April 14, with the focus of having a lunch that is all ready for the working person that only has 30 minutes to one hour for a lunch break.
She prepares a home-cooked meal Monday through Friday, ready to dish up when customers arrive along with a homemade soup every day. Every morning she prepares salads and sandwiches that are ready to “Grab and Go.”
Moody still offers coffee and the gourmet coffee drinks, eight flavors of ice cream as well as sundaes, shakes and floats. She also serves breakfast every morning.
The hours for the Way Station are Monday through Friday 6 a.m to 4 p.m. until summer. Kim is also open on Saturdays from 7 a.m to 1 p.m until summer. She is closed on Sundays for now but that may change this summer.
Moody is also planning a gift shop and some “Grab and Go” flowers, which she hopes to have open by Mother’s Day.
Be sure to stop by and visit the Way Station and enjoy all the changes that Moody has made.
