Darrin and Tangela Uttecht of Woonsocket announce the engagement of their daughter, Samantha Ann Uttecht, to Kody Paul Kopfmann, son of Marty and Patty Kopfmann and Sandy Kopfmann both of Huron.
The future bride graduated from South Dakota State University with an animal science degree. She is currently attending Ross University of Veterinary Medicine in Saint Kitts, West Indies.
The future groom also graduated from South Dakota State University with a degree in agriculture engineering. He is employed with NorthWestern Energy in Huron as an engineer.
An August 2014 wedding is planned at the Huron First United Methodist Church.
