Members of the Sanborn Central and Woonsocket senior classes took their first eager steps into the world this past weekend, as they were awarded their high school diplomas.
Woonsocket’s 19 graduates were handed their ticket out of high school Friday evening, while Sanborn Central’s 12 seniors officially became alumni Saturday afternoon.
Also honored during the ceremonies were each school’s eighth grade class as they prepare to enter high school this fall. Woonsocket High School also honored the class of 1965 on the 50th anniversary of their commencement.
