Notice is hereby given that Supervisors of Twin Lake Township, Sanborn County, South Dakota, presented the following Resolution and Order and moved its adoption:
WHEREAS, petitions having been received asking for the vacation of the roadways described as:
That portion of the township roadway lying on the section line running east and west between Section 15 and Section 22, 235th Street between 397th and 398th Avenue; said roadway being approximately 65 feet in width and approximately one mile in length;
That portion of the township roadway lying on the section line running north and south between Section 1 of Blaine Township, Jerauld County and Section 6 of Twin Lake Township, Sanborn County, 394th Avenue between 232nd and 233rd Streets; said roadway being approximately 65 feet in width and approximately one mile in length;
That portion of the township roadway lying on the section line running north and south between Section 27 and Section 26, 398th Avenue between 236th and 237th Street; said roadway being approximately 65 feet in width and approximately one half mile in length, beginning one half mile south of 236th Street;
And further said petition being in proper form and executed by more than the required number of electors of Township; and further it having been determined that a vacation of said roadways will better serve the public convenience, and that further this petition having come on at a regular meeting of the Board; and no one appearing in opposition thereto; and said Supervisors having considered said matter and being fully advised in the premises and considering it expediently advisable to do so;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, AND IT IS HEREBY ORDERED: That the said roadways described above, are hereby declared to be vacated; and further that a copy of this Resolution and Order be spread on the minutes of the Board;
IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that said Resolution shall be published in the newspaper once each week for two (2) consecutive weeks; and that after such publication, such roadways shall be, after a lapse of thirty (30) days, vacated without further proceedings unless appealed as hereinafter provided; and that the Clerk herein is further ordered and directed to cause to be recorded a true and correct copy of this Resolution and Order in the office of the Register of Deeds in and for Sanborn County, South Dakota:
