
The Sanborn County Courthouse is adorned with Christmas trees and decorations for the holiday and in preparation of the annual Christmas open house to be held this Friday.
Santa Claus is making some early rounds to see the children and take some last requests before his Christmas deliveries.
Santa will be visiting the Sanborn County Courthouse this Friday, Dec. 11 from 3-4:30 p.m.
The annual Courthouse open house will be held in conjunction with Santa’s visit. Community members are invited to stop by the courthouse anytime between 1 and 4:30 p.m., view the parade of trees and have some hot cider and Christmas treats. The Community Choir will also make an appearance to sing a few carols at 2 p.m.
The Letcher American Legion has also asked Santa over for a visit on Saturday. Santa Claus will be available for the children at 6 p.m. at the Letcher Community Center.
The annual barbecue and turkey bingo will be held at 7:30 p.m. Everyone is invited to bring the kids for a sack of goodies and stay for the meal and bingo.
