It’s entitled “Just Hangin’ Out.” The competition was for students attending a school in a WGA member state. Such states included were: Alaska, American Samoa, Arizona, California, Colorado, Guam, Hawaii, Idaho, Kansas, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Mexico, North Dakota, Northern Mariana Islands, Oklahoma, Oregon, South Dakota, Texas, Utah, Washington and Wyoming.

Hegg award 49 web    Hegg Insurance Agency of Woonsocket and The IMT Group recently announced its list of 29 Community Contest winners, distinguishing the Sanborn Central/Woonsocket third and fourth grade basketball program as a $500 recipient.
More than 240 entries were submitted in this year’s IMT Community Contest, the 19th year of the contest and the first time a local community group submitted through Hegg Insurance has won.
Roxann Larson submitted the request for the third and fourth grade SCW boys and girls basketball programs. The $500 will go towards the total cost of $1,200 for jerseys for the kids.
Larson states in the contest submission form that the goal of the program is to expose the children to the fundamentals of the game, while building character as a team. The program currently has about 50 kids participating.
“Our goal is to have new black and white reversible jerseys for the kids to wear with Blackhawk pride,” Larson stated.
The IMT Group consists of IMT Insurance and Wadena Insurance, which offer personal and commercial insurance products through over 960 independent insurance agencies across six states: Iowa, Illinois, Minnesota, Nebraska, South Dakota and Wisconsin.
